Joy Shanon's project, when she wrote her thesis on Oscar Wilde, " The first counter culture celebrity " was as much a reflection on Wilde's American tour in 1882 as a stake in parallel with the contemporary "contreculture". It was also a way to speak about her artistic journey, she is a musician and a true mixed-media artist and performer, and the way Oscar Wilde helped her to find her own path .
Delicate and celtic up to the end of her harp, Joy looks like queen Mab, dear to Shakespeare, Shelley and to Wilde, who was familiar of the company of the fairies and the witches of the Irish folklore.
